Steroid shots into the nose?
Has anyone ever had this done if you have bad post nasal drip/allergies? I may have to do this in April. What does it feel like? Does it hurt a lot? How long does the discomfort last?
TIA

I had severe allergies, post nasal problems before my surgery. I have never heard of this.

Re: Steroid shots into the nose?
I'm only allergic to tree leaf mold and there isn't an allergy shot for that yet. Gotta love nj for giving me allergies! My Ent gives direct localized steroids. We will give my current treatment 6 weeks (I saw him today) and then reevaluate.

Yes. I did a lot of them years ago. It was for swollen turbinates. I didn't think doctors did them as much because I know I still get that condition and now they just prescribe sprays. The condition comes back but it works for a good amount of time. Not bad at all if you just don't look at what they are doing.
