September mom here! Gender Reveal Cake?
Hey everyone! I came here after being horrified by the BabyCenter forums. Vicious!
I'm due 9/5 with my first!!
My family is throwing a gender reveal party for me and I said I would take care of finding a baker for the cake. We are going to host the party in Oakdale so does anyone have a baker out this way they can suggest? I've only ever lived in Nassau so I don't know many places out in Suffolk. Thanks!

Congrats! 9/5 is my bday so its an excellent due date!
Audrey's does good cakes - they are in Sayville.
I also had an amazing cupcake recently (rainbow cookie flavor!) from Manhattan Sweets in Islip.

My baker is amazingggg I've been using him for years. Macayla Michael Desserts he's located in nesconset let me know if you want his info he is extremely talented he can make anything you want!!

September mom here! Gender Reveal Cake?
Audrey's cakes are DELICIOUS and they are right in West Sayville. My wedding, bridal shower, engagement party, and baby shower cakes all came from them. And many other cakes. Manhattan Sweets in Islip also has great cakes, but may be a bit pricier then Audrey's.
I also have a friend with her own cake business in the area, on Facebook you can find it as Blissfully Sweet Confections.
Congratulations and welcome. There are some disagreements here but for the most part this board is helpful and friendly. Better the other forums for sure.

The rainbow cookie cupcake at Manhattan Sweets is the best thing in the world. It's been one of my pregnancy cravings at least 3 times since I first had one in October. The rainbow cookie cake is pretty good too. And apparently famous. My friend read about it in a magazine and upon finding out I live in Islip made me bring one to NJ once.

September mom here! Gender Reveal Cake?
This was my shower cake yesterday from Audrey's in W. sayville. My mom opted for just a sheet cake because it's cheaper. It was DELICIOUS.
