Sleep Training Twins
Does anyone have any advice? They were sleeping really well, but now that we're trying to get rid of the swaddle and move them into their cribs it's getting out of hand. I need some sleep!! We tried to let them CIO last night, but then one would eventually wake up the other one. It's not an option to separate them since we don't have a spare room. They're 5 months old. Thanks!

I temporarily separated them but I had a spare room. I took the bad sleeper out and did CIO in the pack n play Maybe you could keep the good sleeper in your room? and do cio with the not so good sleeper and then put them back together?

We were having trouble transitioning our 6 month old twins from the swaddle. We bought sleep sacks from zipadee zip and they worked really well! We eventually did CIO too with the sacks and the first night was rough but they have been sleeping well since

Thanks for the suggestions. We're on night two of both of them sleeping the whole night in their cribs. They may have gotten up for the day at 5:30am, but at least they only woke up once during the night. I think what finally worked was switching out DD's formula. I'm starting to wean and as she was getting more formula her reflux was getting worse. We switched to a new one and she's sleeping so much better now.

Re: Sleep Training Twins
I was just going to write about sleep training. Do you do both at same time or one at a time?
Mine were doing ok - DD was even sleeping through then 4 months hit and she now wakes up 1-3 times a night and the last few days both haven't been eating well and waking up 1-3 times a night! I'm going crazy.

Why do you need to get rid of the swaddle in the crib? My DD loved being swaddled and we did it until she would break free. I say cross one problem at a time. Get them in the crib swaddled, then you can worry abt getting rid of it.

We did CIO too. We hated it but it only took a few days and now they both love going to their room and sleep 12 hrs a night! We never let my daughter CIO and she still sleeps terribly and ends up in our bed almost every night. So CIO was the best thing we did for them.
