Pediatrician Recommendation?
I'm now 25 weeks pregnant with our first and not sure where to begin with looking for a pediatrician. I'm in Islip, does anybody have any recommendations in the area? My sis in law loves her doc but they're in Massapequa, I'd like the dr to be a little closer to home.
Andddd I feel a little lost as to what I should be doing right now to prepare in general so if you guys have any info or feedback, that would be awesome!! I feel completely unprepared and none of it seems real still.

We are in Islip terrace and go to dr trivedi at west Islip pediatrics. The office was formerly dr George's office. Many ppl on here use them. He's still there but they are part of pro health now.

That's ok too. You would just have the hospital dr in the nursery and follow up with your ped at a week old or so. I'm delivering at a different hospital thus time so I'm not sure if my peds even go there.

Re: Pediatrician Recommendation?
West Islip Pediatrics. They've been great to my daughter. We just switched after my daughters former pediatrician could not fit her in for an appointment when she was 3 months old and had a diaper full of blood. They got us in right away and have taken such good care of her since - and it has not been easy!

I also take my son here! Love all three of the pediatricians: Dr. Fiumano, Dr. Matthew, Dr. Verrier. The office is clean, the staff is super friendly and the office also has a sick child area.
So far very happy!
