Bleeding question??
Sorry for TMI Ladies..I am just about 12 weeks. I noticed from I went to the bathroom and wiped what appears to be old blood. Its not red but brownish looking. I got concerned and phoned the dr..they said if it gets red to head to the ER but other then that to watch and let them know Monday if I still have it. Has anyone had this experience? I just got home from a 5 day stay in the hospital for IV fluids and meds for vomiting and all was good in the hospital. I have not had any relations with DH.

Re: Bleeding question??
Yep. I had that at an earlier stage. I did need a rhogam shot because I'm Rh negative. It was a subchorionic hemmorhage

Re: Bleeding question??
Spotting in early pregnancy is quite normal. I had red spotting with both. Scary, but DS turned out to be fine and I'm 28 weeks with #2.

Re: Bleeding question??
I bled on and off with DS entire pregnancy it always seemed to get better with more water and rest (im prone to dehydration too I feel you! )... Even this one I bled first 8 weeks ... Take it easy next few days and drink more then you think you need ...
Bright red blood that can get heavy is usually an issue older/dark or a spot of pink on TP not usually cause for concern .. Or if accompanied by pains or cramping

I had a subchorionic hematoma as well. It was bright red though when I wiped and was gone within minutes. Scary but common.

Bleeding question??
I had that, spotted through the first trimester and into the 2nd... I had placenta previa until about 18 weeks that was causing some intermittent spotting.

It resolved by itself. My dr told me no sex, and to hydrate.
Over a month after that, I had big time bright red bleeding, but that was another story (due to a low placenta). That required another rhogam shot & serious bedrest).
I see my doctors a lot.

Re: Bleeding question??
I spotted on and off from 7 weeks til about 16 then again about 20. I had placenta Previa and also a polyp that can cause spotting. I spotted with my first pregnancy too.
