spider vein removal - success stories?

During my last pregnancy, the veins in my leg had popped out and were painful, ugly and just horrible. Since giving birth over a year ago, they look and feel significantly better but left behind a few areas that are still not pretty.

With the warm weather approaching, i knee jerked and bought a groupon to get these removed with a laser at some skin spa in northport. Since doing this, ive seen nothing but bad reviews about using the laser procedure to remove spider veins. Does anyone have a success story? or should i just chalk it up to a waste of $$ and not go?

Any advice is appreciated.

I have never done it but have looked into it. From my research I have gathered that the laser really doesn't work and that you need to have the saline injections that collapse the vein.
