not sure about winthrop but at stonybrook i got 2 (40 per) tubs of the witch hazel circles which is the same as tucks- i didnt even go through one and i had bought 2 pkgs of tucks (100 each)
i also froze pads with witch hazel on them - only used a couple (froze about 6)
the spray- i used 1 1/2 bottles, they gave me 2
they also gave me a cream which i used 1 1/2 of, they gave me 2
they also gave me the perinatel (?) bottle for water. used this for a while.
they gave me very little tubes of lanisome (nipple cream) which i barely used and i had bought the medela one
they gave me extra pads - used all & had bought more
i took some chucks- to use as emergency changing pads if DS has a blow out on the road :)
i just packed everything up, that's why i remember :)
i asked for extras of everything and the nurses were OK giving me whatever i needed. (i was also camping out in the NICU for 1 night so i used this as my reason- but i didnt really need one)

In all honesty it depends on which nurse you get. They will give you a pair of the mesh undies... Yes a pair is policy so I suggest you bring some granny panties. They give you pads, a peribottle, tucks. You should clean out your baby's bassinet each day so they can restock it and send the stuff home with DH.
This is regarding Winthrop specifically. FM me if you have any more questions.

On the advice of a friend, I made some padsicles and they're in my freezer. She also mentioned earth mama angel baby bottom spray. I also stocked up on nipple cream. I'm a FTM so I'm basically just going on advice of others but I figured I'd share.

Do you have a "recipe" for these padsicles? I assume they are in your freezer at home for when you are discharged from the hospital?

Padsicle Recipe
I just wrapped them back in the plastic that they came in and put them back in the bag. This is the Aloe and Lavender Oil that I bought. I already had witch hazel in the house but it was just regular drug store brand, nothing fancy.
Here's the Earth Mama Angel Baby New Mom Bottom Spray and their lanolin free Nipple Butter just in case you were interested as well.
I also bought some Fruit of the Loom 100% cotton granny panties for after care that I plan to just toss when I'm done with them.
If things get really desparate, I'll send DH out for some lady depends
