folate and twins
my dr did not tell md to take extra folate with twins. I take 1 mg a day and its not folic acid but folate? I'm so confused!

My doc didn't mention anything to be about increasing my folic acid. I take my multivitamin and that's it.

They likey ran bloodwork and your iron is fine. My se had me on script iron with my twins and it was still low but I'm enemic.

When I was pregnant with my twins, I took the regular prenatals, 1mg Folic Acid and Iron - I was anemic throughout my pregnancy, right down to the day I delivereed.
