Glucose Test Today! - TIP!!
Just drank the "drink" and anyone that can do the new fruit punch flavor it was really not bad at ALL. Not great, but totally fine to drink 5oz of.
Tip - besides putting it in the fridge so that it's cold, use a straw to drink it because you can drink it much faster and not taste it as much.
Hope I pass! (Does it take more than 1-2 days to find out?)

Good luck! The lab I went to gave me orange for the one hour and the fruit punch for the 3 hour. They did refrigerate it before hand to make it more palatable. I had my 1 hour done on a Friday and my OB called me on Wednesday w/ results.

My OB doesn't call unless you fail. My old OB for my first pregnancy was the same way.
I've had to take it 3 times and don't think the drink is so bad. It's very sweet, but it's not gross or anything.

Done!
Got a little light headed about 20 minutes after my blood was taken and felt immediately better bc she was like "oh sorry! I should have told you right away you can have a granola bar and water..." Hope that's not a bad sign!

Glucose Test Today! - TIP!!
My SIL recommended putting it in the freezer.
My problem is I can't stand orange OR fruit punch flavored ANYTHING.

I preferred the Orange much more than the lemon lime. That one I was gagging on! Orange tasted like Hi-C!

I've heard that some places have one that is Coca-Cola flavored? Every time I've gone (3 times -- 1 one hour test and 2 three hour tests), I've never had a choice -- its been orange.

The orange wasn't that bad because it was cold!
My OB called a week later....and I assumed it was bad news...but it turns out they call with good results too! I passed and my results were fine.

My thing is I've been so anti-sweets this pregnancy. The sugar had me nauseous my entire first trimester and several weeks in my second. This is coming from a girl that must have chocolate during AF or I can't function. I still at 23 weeks can't eat chocolate so I can't imagine getting through the orange drink.
