How often does your 4 year old (pre k) child get sick?

After what seemed like back to back ear infections from 1-3 we had a relatively smooth winter. However, DD is now on her 4th fever since March 16. I am starting to get really nervous that there is an underlyng issue :(. She had a full blood panel done in December and all was normal.

We do all we can, but doesn't this seem like a lot?

DS1 has been in daycare since 3 months. I want to say the first 2 years of his life he was on and off sick from Fall to Spring. Ear infections, fevers, virus, RSV, cocksakie, etc. It was awful! He just has a lower immune system. My younger DS (knock on wood) doesn't get as sick as he does. I don't know if it makes a difference, but my older DS is sooo picky with food. He doesn't eat as well (he doesn't eat bad, but veggies or fruits too often). DS2 eats everything. He loves his veggies and picks that over dessert.
I give DS1 Elderberry syrup now every day and I think it makes a difference. They both do get sick, but now I notice DS1 who takes elderberry doesn't get it as bad. DS2 hates the taste so he takes other vitamins and doesn't get sick as often so I'm ok with it.

My ds isn't 4 yet but will be in preK in sept. We had a great year (knock on wood). A few colds but that was it.

He has been in daycare since 8 weeks. He doesn't get sick much anymore.

*Knock Wood* my 4.5 year old DS was rarely sick this whole winter. He's a healthy child overall. I think he had maybe 2 colds the entire fall/winter.
