Costco or BJs membership?
When we (finally!!) close on our new house, I'm getting a second fridge/freezer. If you live in central Nassau, do you have a Costco or BJs membership? Which one is better and why? We're a family of four. We typically buy organic and/or Kosher meat and organic produce. Do either of these stores have Kosher sections? What's the organic selection like?

Costco or BJs membership?
For Kosher I'd choose Costco. The one in Westbury has a pretty big kosher selection. I prefer the one in Melville because it's less crowded but they do not carry kosher meat. They also have a good selection of organic produce, like fruits, kale, etc., but not as much variety as say Whole Foods. They have a good selection of organic food items, such as bread, cereals, snacks, etc. We also like the Kirkland brand diapers.

We have a Costco membership. TBH I think they just have an overall better selection than BJ's.

I personally prefer costco as a store (lines move fast, more receptive staff, really good prices, they are really good to their employees), but I think BJs carries more of the brands that we use. Having said that, we tend to pick costco over bjs primarily due to satisfaction while shopping (We have memberships to both).

it depends on what you need. bjs has more baby stuff and you can use manufacturer coupons along with bjs coupons.
i have a bjs membership mostly for those reasons and its close to me.
with that being said i think costco has better food choices and if it was closer i think i would get a membership there also

We have both, but we much prefer costco. The employees at costco are always so friendly and helpful, can't say the same about BJ's employees. And we buy all our fruits and vegetables from costco. They are always fresh and great quality.

We use Costco. They have a lot of organic things. We use their diapers and wipes, we prefer them to pampers or Huggies.

I have both and SAMs club. I find costco has the best selection of organic food. I like bjs and SAMs for variety and smaller portioned items.
