What's your idea of business casual for an office
I'm confused. Separates and jackets or a simple sweater will do? Image Attachment(s):

Re: What's your idea of business casual for an office
It depends on the office and the industry. I work in advertising, where business casual is much more casual than in DH's finance office. I dress up more than most in my office, just because I like to, but what you posted would be fine in my office.

It was business casual where I used to work and I would dress just like that picture. In the spring/summer, I wore more dresses and skirts/nice tops.

Re: What's your idea of business casual for an office
That is business casual in my office. We are corporate from October thru the end of May, then switch over to business casual for the summer. It does not mean sun dresses, beach attire, shorts, flip flops. It means no suits necessary. For me, I wear trousers in lightweight fabric or linen, cropped pants if they are a little bit dressy, a summer weight skirt, some type of blouse or a dressier weight tee with a cardigan.
