New steps for front of home cost?

We need to redo our front steps. Not sure how expensive a job like this would be. Probably 5 steps total. Small cape so not even big steps. Anyone had this type of work done?

We got quotes from a few people. Most averaged about $5-$5,500. Some were outrageous at 8K+

This was red brick with blue stone tops

I guess it mostly depends are material used

Depends really what you are looking to do. We choose to do a cedar wood steps with vinyl/plastic railings. It cost us $2,300.

Our stairs are fairly wide. We got quotes for pavers/brick most were between 4-7k. I just didn't want to spend it. I also love the look of our stairs now. Wood does need maintenance though. We seal it every year.

It depends on the type of steps. We got quoted high numbers for concrete and pavers. We went with treated wood and it was about 2k.

We just replaced two bluestone steps that were very long and had the stucco face below them redone. This cost us $2000.
