So, what does one wear to a boat party? But not just ANY boat party...
A corporate boat party.... 
My company is throwing a Summer Party on a boat in Chelsey Piers.
I want to wear something summery and flirty, but not TOO flirty of course. I work in a very business casual environment so we can definitely push the envelope but I still want to be mindful that these are my colleagues, KWIM?
The stats: I am very short, have an hourglass figure and do not like to wear things that are above the knee.
Any ideas?

I like this idea. Otherwise I would do a cute dress (I am very much a dress person), maybe something like one of these:
A personal favorite
Comes in blue or green, too
A little more casual

Keep in mind that it can be breezy on a boat, so dresses may not be a good choice.
I like the idea of capris with a nice top and shoes comfortable for walking around on a boat.

Keep in mind that it can be breezy on a boat, so dresses may not be a good choice.
I like the idea of capris with a nice top and shoes comfortable for walking around on a boat.
I was thinking capris -- like a legging capri and a nice pretty blouse top... with wedges. A dressy wedge. A clutch, that's key. And a little white sweater for your shoulders if you are chilly.
OR
I was even thinking about those jump suits -- they have capri ones that are belted and either have a capped sleeve top, a strapless top, etc... all different styles of tops. Then they have the longer jumpsuits with flowy pants on the bottom. Both with nice summery heels would look really chic but you'd be good with a breeze BUT will be appropriate since it is a work thing.

I would do pants, heels and a cute top. It gets super breezy on the boats so also bring a sweater.

I got the cutest jumper on venus.....it fits great...I am smaller up top bigger hips and very flattering and they have tons of cute ones.dont know how to post the pic but heres the link.

Totally this! Dresses + Boats = Marilyn Monroe and that's not a good look in front of your co-workers.

Yup, totally agree. I've been the idiot on a boat in a dress and it was no fun. Worrying about flashing your coworkers the entire time puts a damper on things.

A pair of dressy shorts, tank & wedges would be really cute, or else I would do a maxi dress or long skirt and cute top.
No dresses above the knee on boats. You will be the talk of the office.

My company is having the same thing in late June! We actually received a guideline on what to wear and what NOT to wear:
Per the email, this is what is appropriate:
Collared/ Polo/ Hawaiian Shirts
Wide Strap Tanks/Dresses
Sandals & Flip Flops
Capri Pants
Shorts of a respectable length
Jeans
This is what is NOT appropriate:
Swimwear
Spaghetti Straps Tanks/Dresses
T-shirts with offensive language or graphics
Crop Tops
Short Shorts/Daisy Dukes
Mini-skirts
I love that they wrote Daisy Dukes.
