Ok... So this is our first time to stay at a Sandals and our first time to go to the Bahamas and i have a question about our room. We are currently booked for the lowest level room type which is the Luxury Level... my question is how are these rooms? Is it worth the extra $500 to upgrade to the club level or would we be just as good at this level?

I stayed on that level for my honeymoon. I was considerably underwhelmed. Pay whatever you can afford to upgrade.

I stayed in the base level room at a Sandals in St. Lucia and I agree....honestly, I'd upgrade or go to a different hotel, I would NOT stay in one of those rooms.

If you're not going at a busy time, try doing it on site. Did you book through a travel agent? Many times, they have perks for free upgrades. If not, call the hotel directly. Ask if they're fully booked and ask them if there is a chance for upgrading to a better room at checking. Explain to them it's a special anniversary or something. There's no way I would pay for an upgrade ahead of time. As a travel agent, I always told my clients that if it wasn't full, to try at checkin. Sooo many times, they just got it for free. Good luck!
