Two name opinions please~Boy/Girl
We are team  and currently our boy name is Finn. We are considering naming his Fintan (formal name) and calling him Finn. I would like opinions on Finn alone as a first name. Is it a nickname?
Our girl name is Emersen and we will call her Emmy. The issue my daughter's name is Erin and we call her Erry. Do you think Erry and Emmy are too much alike?
Again, these are silly things I think about!!! I appreciate your opinions. Thank you!

I know a boy named Finnegan and they call him Finn but I think its fine as a first name. Erry and Emmy do sound alike but, if you love the name then go for it. You can also use "emme" as a nick name.

Very cute names! Whatever you decide to do will work  Personally, I'm all about naming kids what they'll be called. I don't care for nicknames. lol. So if it were ME, I'd just name him Finn if he'd never be called Fintan anyhow. Emersen (and Emmy) are very nice names too. Emmy & Erry will definitely get confusing though. Are they very close in age? I'm all against siblings even sharing the same first letter, let alone sounding that similar. (I work in childcare and have enough names to remember - that just makes it impossible for me. haha). But that's my own thing. If you like it, then go for it!!

I would just use Finn. Personally not a fan of Fintan. My DS is named Sam. Some may think its a nickname but we weren't a fan of the longer versions.
Erry and Emmy do sound way too similar IMO.

I know of people who have Finn's and they're just Finn, no formal name. I prefer just Finn- I love that name!
I think emmy and erry do kind of sound alot alike, sorry!

Just use Finn as his formal name not a fan of Fintan if you're going with Finn.
I like Emersen.
