How do I get DH tested?

My gyno sent me for bloodwork day 3 of my cycle. I also had a sono around ovulation. All seems ok so she suggested Clomid to "kick it up a notch". The more I research it I'm not so sure I'm comfortable with this. I would really like DH to get tested. Is this something my regular gyno can send him for or would it gave to be through an RE?
If he does have to see an RE then how long does it usually take to get an appt?

for a semen analysis? your local hospital lab should have a kit. call and ask for one. there will be instructions how to transport the sample back to the lab for testing.

Everything you are doing or looking to do I did once I was with my RE.
I hear that they'll want do all those tests themselves so I figured why go through it twice.
Semen Analysis (at my RE) are done at two specific times during the week. My RE has a lab in the office. My friends DH went to a regular lab and I think it is by appointment because the sperm needs to be tested within a certain time frame.

My DH got a script from his PCP. Checked his insurance and found a place to go from there. He ended up going to LIJ.
