dark blue/grey dining room
Did anyone do their dining room in that color? I would love to see pictures and/or hear paint color recommendations. We were thinking Kensington Blue from BM.

My first dining room was Polaris Blue by BM. I loved it. Got so many compliments. Don't know if I have any pics, but you can google it.

My DR is done in navy blue. I have a semi-open floor plan and my den is right next to DR and that is painted in a grey. I use white trim in both rooms. Also, we use our DR every day.
Get a ton of compliments. Wasn't sure if I was making a mistake, but 3 years later I know I did not.

What color table do you have?
We ordered a custom set from Canadel. It is a distressed finish, the color of the top is a medium brown and the base is a black stain. The distressing is very heavy. Our floors are armstrong laminate, again a heavy distress look.
Using the distressed furniture/floor with the navy blue, which is very formal, gives the room an extremely unique look and feel.
We also have a buffet and wall cabinet, which are expresso. But those pieces are only temporary and just what we had on hand at the moment. And even though they don't "match" everything else, they go great in the room.
And our sons toy kitchen really puts the finishing touch on our DR.

I have an accent wall in my kitchen as well as my dining room that is done in Kensington Blue. The other walls in my dining room are grey.

I don't have a pic of mine with me, but we used BM Gentleman's Gray on our walls with white chair rail. Really pops. Don't let the name fool you - it's essentially navy.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We have a mahogany (?) table and buffet from Ethan Allen.
Eta. This is our exact table, chairs, and buffet. This is NOT our room color nor my decor.
