Grey dining room
thinking of re-painting our dining room. Right now its a dark hunter green/brown (hard to describe) on top and white on bottom. DH and I both LOVE the color...BUT my DR has been undecorated for 2 years now bc i can't find anything i like to go with this color. No artwork, no runner on the table, its a big room and the walls are bare... we do have a neutral rug that can stay if we repaint. We are now thinking of grey. Any pics or color recommendations?

Re: Grey dining room
I have a Kelly green living room, but we just redid our master bedroom and bathroom in grey. The best part of grey is that it's so versatile and goes with almost anything. You can easily change the accent colors/tablescape with the seasons. Dark reds and silver for the holidays. Bright yellows, lime green, orange during spring and summer. Navy, plum, forest green in the fall. It all works!

Excatly why i want grey. I feel the way we have it now, although we love the color, NOTHING matches! I would love to have artwork, accent colors, and be able to change it up.

Re: Grey dining room
We have revere pewter in our family room, kitchen and foyer (it's 2 story) and hall way upstairs. I love he color but I think it is a little light for a dining room.
I did Ashley Gray in our diningroom which is definitely a taupe color. I wanted more gray and wish I went with Rockport Gray. I still love the color so I am not changing it, but I have to change everything else I wanted for the room. There was another gray color I was looking at buy my DH veto'd it. I will find out for you.

Re: Grey dining room
We did BM Adagio in our DR, it looks different depending on the light in your room. It is grey/blueishy.
