How reliable are Dollar Store pregnancy tests?
I took 2 last night and a BFP came up right away. I'm still in shock and not quite believing it because we weren't trying and the chances of me getting pregnant are so low. I'm thinking they may just be false positives.

I never had an issue with them...and used them with every one of my pregnancies. I also followed it up with a clearblue or ept after I received a bfp on a dollar store test just to double check and never had an issue!

I would say you got a true BFP because I haven't had any problems with them! congrats!
ETA I would buy a FRER to double check just in case

I think false positives are rare- unless you are seeing results after the test window which could mean evap lines- especially with blue dye tests.
But you said it came up BFP right away so....
Just reconfirm with a First Response to be sure

Totally reliable. Those were the first tests I used for all three pregnancies. I then confirmed on a digital.

They've always worked for me as long as I waited until the day AF was due. But even when they didn't work (from testing too early) it was a false BFN, not a false BFP. I'd say you're pregnant  though you could always double check with a clearblue just to be sure.

Very! For a bfp pretty quickly. Was a week late. And here I am at 35 weeks. False positive is rare.
