nocturnal newborn
My DS is 3 weeks old and seems to have his days and nights confused. He is fine during the day, eats, naps, barely cries but then at night he is like a different child. I can't seem to get him down for the night. I nurse him but it is as if he is never satisfied. I hold him and rock him but he is wide awake. Any advice for a tired FTM?? Thanks!

DS was like this. He'd cluster feed all night! By 4-6 weeks, it got better on its own. Make sure you're nursing DC as often as possible during the day - like every 2-2.5 hours.

My first would cluster feed until around midnight. If it's a day night confusion thing, keep things brought and noisy during the day, talk to him and make things more interesting. At night use white noise, vertu dim lighting, don't talk to him so he realizes life is more exciting during the day. Only change him if he's poopy so he feeds and gets back to sleep add fast as possible. Swaddle at night and not during the day. Hopefully he'll catch on soon but the evening cluster feeding can last a while and is very common.

This. It's very common and usually starts to resolve around 1 month, but these are all good things to do to help your LO figure out day from night. Also, as babies get older, they need a little less sleep, so will stay up more during the day and sleep better at night. I'd try to move the cluster feeding "up" earlier to start around your dinner time and finish when you're ready for sleep, so you can get more sleep in sync with the baby.

I used to watch a lot of netflix. It does resolve (by itself, almost magically).

Yeah, I think every newborn is like that for a period. Especially if they are tiny. They don't know the difference between night and day, it's not something that is innate. They will learn it. It just takes some time. And like others said, you sleep when the baby sleeps during the day and netflix it at night.
