backyard patio cost?
We have a small cape with a very small backyard, and we want to rip out the grass and make a patio out of it. We want the entire yard to be a patio with a nice table set-up and we want to put our grill back there and maybe a fire pit. We do, however, want to keep a grass border so we can plant flowers around the border of the patio.
Anyway, has anyone done this and know an approx. cost? I have no clue if it would be around 2k or 25k honestly lol

Where are you located? I have an awesome mason who just did a lot of work for us, we priced out a bunch, he came highly recommended and beat all of our other quotes

We're putting a new patio in our yard, among other things (driveway, steps, walkway). It really depends on how many square feet your patio will be, so it's hard to give you a price. We're doing pavers and for the patio alone, it's a few thousand. But again, it depends how many square feet your patio will be. We also aren't doing a fire pit. Best bet is to call and get a few estimates.
ETA: We got quotes for $10-$14/sq ft for pavers.

We recently obtained 3 quotes for our backyard patio and they ranged from $10/sq foot to $13.50/sq foot.

last year we paid $9 sq ft (it would have been $10 but we went over $1,000 they discounted to $9).
On top of that, we paid like $500 (i think actually less) more for a premium color upgrade and maybe another $500 for an upgrade in the shape of the pavers.
