***OFFICIAL AUGUST 2015 THREAD***
So this morning I went to the doctors because I got a little nervous from not feeling her for over 12 hours.
Had a sono and she's in position and my placenta is anterior
I am measuring 34 weeks (supposed to be 30.5 and they did all her measurements twice and she both times came out to over 5lbs. with an EDD of 7/23

Wow, that is crazy that they changed your due date so late! That must have been a big surprise. Glad baby is doing well though. It's scary when you don't feel them moving around as much.

No the darn doctor was like your date is your date...but I knew from the get go their date was off. If you go by my LMP baby measurements are correct right now. They were going by the first sono of a blip on the screen.

I hate when they go by first sonogram measurements opposed to LMP. I did IVF with my youngest DD and she didn't go by transfer date but by measurements(my OB). Of course she came early but she was still preterm(5 weeks early but really only 4 weeks based on transfer date)

I'm thinking my date is pretty accurate, considering I'm almost certain when I conceived. I had everything written down, everything! even the consistency of my cervical mucus, lol!!

Had some bleeding last night and had to go to the dr to be checked out. So far everything looks okay but I am on bed rest until I go for my follow up next week. Hoping if nothing changes I can resume normal activity after that. Never a dull moment!
Hope everything is good momma! Was it bright red?
It started out red and turned brown. Luckily it has t happened again since Wednesday so I am hoping I will be in the clear after my follow up!

On our anniversary we got a pretty interesting surprise. I had a growth sono and they told us we're actually having a boy and not a girl like we were told at our anatomy scan! Yay team blue!!!

That is crazy!!! Did you buy any pink stuff since that's what you thought you were having?
Luckily I didn't but had already registered for girl things, and was gathering ideas for a nursery's girl  Hopefully baby #3 will be a girl, we'll see

Everything is good now, thanks for asking! We're not really sure what caused it. My placenta is a little low so that's a possibility but who knows. Luckily it hasn't happened again since and after a week of bed rest I was cleared to resume normal activity. So stressful!

They didn't but I believe she was also the NP and cranky lol.
I'm gonna try and feel the doctor out when I go back.

I'm starting to feel that way!! Sleeping is getting rough, swelling is pretty bad and have this stabbing pain in back by ribs below shoulder blade 
Hoping to stay at work til the end though, 6 more wks to go. Starting to get a little nervous for delivery day but can't wait to meet the baby!

very tired and very cranky lol. everything irritates me and can set me off. also very emotional too lol. sleeping has been difficult for a long time but even more so now because I get acid reflux / heart burn. I take tums before I go to bed and sometimes another one in the middle of the night. I now pee 3 times during the night. no wonder im so tired. lol.

I'm there with all of you. So done. Every week I say to DH, I don't know how I'm going to get through x# of weeks.
I'm swollen, getting up to pee every 2-3 hrs so sleep is not good, and I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes.  Not happy.
We haven't done a single thing to prepare for I've only bought some clothes. Absolutely nothing for the nursery and other things I want to buy.
I'm in the city a couple a days a week but thankfully work is great about letting me work from home and I'll probably even increase that in the coming weeks. Downside, I have to decide fairly soon about taking a test at the end of July, only 3 weeks before I'm due.

So were all in the same boat...feel absolutely done! This heat is killing me and at work I'm hot while everyone is cold from the AC blasting. It's been difficult lately since I've been chasing my 21 month old DD and still preparing my 18 year old for college this fall(really August). So much to do and it's almost July.

I have a question for you ladies; are you dressing your lo's in long sleeve or short sleeve for the trip home? I purchased a Ralph Lauren Kimono set (long sleeved) but DH thinks I'm crazy since it's summer. We have central air at home but haven't used it this season (don't want to since I end up with a high electric bill every year).

with my first dd, she was born at the end of July. On the way home she wore a short sleeve onesie underneath a sleep and play along with a cotton hat. I knew the ac would be on in the car and at home. I plan on doing the same with this baby. This baby will def wear a long sleeved sleep and play and I'll think about the short sleeve onesie underneath.

The baby's coming home outfit is long sleeved as well. I know we are going to have the AC on in the car and the CAC will be on at home when we get home.

Had my growth sono on Tuesday...baby is still measuring ahead at 6.10 so from the last sono it looks like she is gaining exactly 1/2 lb a week.
Did my strep B and doctor did an internal. 1cm, 30% effaced but long. He said earliest he will induce me is August 6th...here's hoping she comes sooner so I'm not pushing out a 10 pounder lol.
This week started my weekly visits.
ETA: I failed my one hour GC by 16 points. Need to do the 3 hour but haven't been able to get away from work...going to do it Thursday which is same day as my doctors appt. so I'm sure I will get yelled at.
4th pregnancy never had GD before..ugh

experiencing acid reflux a few nights per week. had a sono today and baby is measuring on the bigger side 5lb 8oz at 33 weeks lol. im hoping she slows down !!! the doc and sono tech swear its normal and the baby wont be 10lbs lol. ive been having some mild, period like cramping a few times per week. im very tired and starting to waddle lol

Baby #3 is breach so far, so hoping she flips. Would stink to have a CS for the third delivery after 2 vags! I was figuring 1 push for this one!

is breech as well but I'm having a repeat csection even if he wasn't breech. I know my body is preparing for eviction since my symptoms usually in the weeks leading up to my other deliveries are beginning to rear it's ugly head. I'm hoping to make it to 37 weeks but who knows since I usually go before hand.
