Prenatals and Heartburn
This is my second pregnancy. My first time around, I took GNC prenatal vitamins WITHOUT iron (with my doctor's blessing) because the iron was making me severely constipated. I am 17 weeks and have been taking the same vitamins...except I am probably only able to stomach them half the time. Within 15-20 min of taking them I get terrible heartburn and reflux every single time. It does not matter if I take them with or without a meal or at different times of the day. I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through this and whether switching brands helped?

Yep I had that issue with the two step One-A-Day prenatals. I kept getting severe heartburn due to the DHA pill and had to switch to CVS gummies with DHA. No issues since

Try a different brand and take a Tums if needed. Are you getting hb any other times? I had terrible hb all pregnancy and took Zantac.
