Eden Resort Moms -
We asked for a crib. Is it a pack and play or travel crib? Or maybe it is a real crib? I wanted to bring my own sheets. Also, any recommendations on things to do or places to eat besides the ones we have read about? I'm so excited. We are going during the week!
Also do they give shampoo and conditioner in the room ? Figured someone might know.

Re: Eden Resort Moms -
Its a travel type crib. (I think) It looked like a regular crib, but maybe smaller (?) Bring your own sheets for sure and I also wiped it down with clorox wipes.
They give shampoo conditioner and lotion in the room. It was Bath and Body Works products last few years.
We eat at Carabbas across the street for dinner and Cracker Barrel.
We eat breakfast at the hotel. Kids eat free at the breakfast buffet

I'm there now and have seen regular cribs being rolled to rooms. We had lunch at Garfield's yesterday and I don't recommend it. We ate at the Lancaster brewing co and enjoyed it. Breakfast we had at the pancake farm and it was great. They supply a very small shampoo and condition. Definitely bring your own for the kids. King bedroom rooms don't have bathtubs, FYI.

I agree about Garfield's. It was ok for poolside delivery of a sandwich or salad for lunch, but we ate dinner there one night and it was awful. Just not good.

Triple agree about Garfield's. We were in a queen suite and they had multiple small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I don't love any of the buffets there but we love plain and fancy's family style Amish feast. We sat with a random family from Virginia and wound up that the only person they knew from Long Island my husband knew too! We also ate at noodle company ( the same one they have in the new shopping center in westbury on old country road) for a quick lunch, it's good when u know your kids will not last at a sit down waitress service meal.

Re: Eden Resort Moms -
we like to eat at the Amish smorgasbords for breakfast and usually dinner too. Millers and Shady Maple are our fav. Nearby chain restaurants are Outback, Carrabas, Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans. Family style Amish restaurants are Good n Plenty and Plain n Fancy.
The shampoo smells great that they give you but def not enough.
Poolside service from Garfields is good for a snack or lunch

Re: Eden Resort Moms -
We just got back from there last night and we had two cribs. I was expecting them to be small and I was worried about my 2 and 3 year old not fitting in them but they were fine. I was more surprised that they did not have tubs. I asked and was told only the Villas had tubs in the bathrooms. My kids must be in the minority because we usually just give them baths but they were introduced to showers and did fine. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, the kids ate free and we also ate at Garfields for dinner for two nights. We enjoyed it and they had a salad bar that I got food for my kids from.

That's where I stayed, we had a 2 room suite with a king size bed in the main building. As soon as I saw there was no tub I called the front desk to ask about it. I was told all rooms had showers and no rooms had tubs. I was surprised by that and then asked one of the workers who said there were no bathrooms with tubs except the villas. I was surprised by that. We are planning another trip in the fall so I'll ask again. ]

Ah ok. Yes our 2 room suite had 2 beds in one room and another bed in the living area.
Another year we had 2 beds in one room and a pull out couch in the living area
Both rooms had tubs

Eden Resort Moms -
We just got back from Eden on Wednesday. We had a 2 bedroom queen suite and did have a tub. Their were 2 bottles each of shampoo and conditioner and you can ask for more if needed.
We ate at Garfield's the first night and it was not good! We went to Red Robin the next night and that was pretty good. The 3rd night we ate at Good n Plenty. The food was good but it was stressful bc we were seated at a table with all older people who were not the least bit interested in sitting with our kids!!
For lunch we went to Outback one day which is across the street and we also went to Oregon Dairy restaurant which is like diner about 10 min from Eden.

We always go to The Hershey Farm restaurant & Inn. It's a buffet, about 15 minutes from Eden resort. DD loves it because there is a little barn with animals outside & behind the hotel rooms there is a big swing set with a slide & further down is a wooden ark that she can play on. http://www.hersheyfarm.com/
