Counter Top Replacement ?
Has anyone had their counter top replaced? Our kitchen has original wood cabinets that we'd like to keep and refinish, but there is old laminate on top that we'd like to replace. We need a referral for someone who will remove and replace the counter top without out destroying the cabinets.

We did something similar in our last house. We removed a laminate counter and backsplash and replaced both. We used Papasidero Tile in Mineola. Family owned and run, great selection, good prices.

We kept our old cabinets and refinished them and we replaced the old laminate countertops with granite. It cost about $3400'ish installed. We used Creative Stone and Granite on Middle Country Rd down in Selden, they had a nice selection and did a great install job.
