What questions to ask?
I'm finally going for my long awaited ivf pgd consult on Thursday. What are some important questions I should ask when I go? I tend to become brain dead when I see Drs and forget everything I want to say/ask. Tia.

What questions to ask?
I think questions would be specific to your needs ex. protocol, cost, etc.- maybe other girls could be more helpful with that- but what I always do is keep a list in my phone and as I think of questions before my appointment I put them in there that way when I go to my appt I have something to refer to so I don't forget. GL!

What questions to ask?
Questions I asked at my appointment were:
What medications do you use, what is your protocol?
How often do you monitor and get blood work?
Does your doctor do the retrieval and transfer or will it be a possibility that someone else in the practice will do it?
Do you use progesterone shots or gel/cream?
Cost?
This is what I can think of at the moment.. I'm sure there are a ton more but my brain is mush, I did one cycle already and am gearing up to start a second so I'm sure i'll have more questions along the way as well! Good luck!

When do you start.
What anticipated transfer date is.
Do they do day 3 vs day 5 & why.
What are success rates for their practice for your diagnosis (mf, low reserve, unexplained).
Honestly... You pick a doc & go with their routine!

What questions to ask?
If it's a PGD consult you might want them to test the embryos on Day 5 and do a frozen cycle transfer to get more data. Ask what their feelings are on that.
