Bottles to start with

I know ultimately, the "right" bottle depends on baby's preference and needs, but just wondering what bottles everyone started with (or recommends to start with). After major stomach issues, we ended up with Dr. Browns for dd1; was hoping maybe to start out with ones with less pieces this go-around while still easy on the tummy. I Plan on only formula feeding. Thanks!

Playtex drop ins. Convenient and you can push the air out. Great for gas issues and colic

Started with Avent Classic, switched to Avent Natural, then to Playtex Drop-Ins, and then finally found MAM anti-colic bottles! They work fantastically for DD and once I started to use them, has gas and fussiness virtually disappeared!

Playtex Ventaire

Same. Tested all nipples too and found the breastlike shape slow flow ones worked best for DD when she was a newborn.

We tried Avent and Tommy Tippee and didn't care for them. The milk would dribble out of DD's mouth.

I used to use Born Free with DS but with DD she had major gas issues so I switched to Avent, then ended up on Dr. Browns (which we are currently using). It is a pain in the butt with all the pieces but I rather not hear her scream in pain from gas...

Re: Bottles to start with

With DS we started out with Tommy Tippee and switched to Dr. Brown's at about 6 weeks. It was life changing for us.
This time around DD will start with Dr. Brown's. The parts arent't that big a deal to me. I buy the dishwasher holder thing they make and it's easy breezy!

We used dr browns for DS1 and plan to use them for DS2 as well. The parts did not bother me, just popped them in the special dishwasher basket and put them in dishwasher.

playtex dropins. Wish I used these with dd1. DD1 used dr browns PITA to clean so many parts. dd2 couldn't use them. Dr rec drop ins. By far the most awesome bottle. SO easy
