Help me find a town OOS, coastal city with great schools???
Hi. Just tossing around the idea of moving OOS. I would need to be by a city and my husband wants to live very close to the ocean. Any recommendations? Reasonable housing would also be ideal since we bought in the height of the market. Where can we research from here down to Florida???' Thanks

You can check city-data.com. They have information about every town, schools, etc. You can still read the posts without creating a password. Good Luck!

Cleawater/Tampa Bay Area. Clearwater is beautiful and I heard the schools are great.

Help me find a town OOS, coastal city with great schools???
I am not sure about the schools but, a lot of people I know have relocated to the Charleston, SC area (Mount Pleasant in particular).

We just moved to Ponte Vedra, just south of Jacksonville. Schools are rated #1 in Florida.

Mt. Pleasant housing is expensive, but it is a great place.
We were just in Southport which is soooo cute(looks very New England like) near Oak Island as well.

Live in the same place. Top district in the state and close to the beach. And 3 seasons.

Property near the Delaware beaches is a steal and no taxes... though I'm not sure how close to a city you can get.

My parents own in Bethany Beach, they are about 3 hours from Baltimore. Schools are ok, I know many people that actually drive to MD to send their kids to Catholic school there. No taxes is amazing! and it is a beautiful area with weather similar to here.
ETA: Maybe 1 1/2 hours from Wilmington Delaware which is a nice area and 1/2 hour from Salisbury, MD, which is not that nice.

VERY good schools there and it's gorgeous! It's high on our list. So is Jacksonville, FL - St. John's County has the best schools in Fl.
