DUE IN DECEMBER MOMS... newborn picture with SANTA!??!
I was just thinking... for many of us December Mommies, our babies will be born before Christmas. And it will be "Baby's First Christmas"! They need a photo with SANTA!
If we're not supposed to bring the baby out, how do we make this happen?!?! What if Santa didn't have his Tdap vaccine?!!?

maybe have a relative/friend get a Santa suit and dress up and have the pic taken at home. Just a thought.

I KNOW! But, that means the Baby won't get his first Christmas pictures with Santa and that makes me SAD!! I'm a Christmas NUT!!
I may have to buy my Dad a suit and have him be Santa this year!!!

Oh shes right though LOL trust me im the biggest Christmas nut too. Just look at my avatar hahah and my dd was born 12/19. But taking a newborn to a crowded mall during Christmas makes me very anxious.

DD was born on December 18 and there was no way I was taking her to a mall and to sit on a strangers lap who was in contact with germy kids all day. When she's 12 and wants to look at all her Santa photos, she will have to forgive me.

I've seen some photographers that have a santa come for the newborn photo shoot. That might be better than bringing the baby to a public place. If you look up Kristin Pitre Photography on Facebook she's located in North Babylon and I know she did this last year for her clients.

Oh, I definitely will! Thanks! I'm just looking for a local photographer with that same kind of "look" and "feel" to their pictures who doesn't cost $600! Yikes!!

haha! I'm actually kind of weird because I honestly don't care about Santa pictures. DD didn't even see him for the first time until she was 3 because the thought of her sitting on his dirty lap (who knows how often his pants are washed and how many germy kids sat there before us) completely disgusted me. By the time she was 3 I toughened up and let it happen, but she wasn't even that interested. lol. She really didn't get into it at all until she was 4. So I don't plan to bring DS either, especially not when he's only a week or so old. If I do decide on any Christmas photos though, I'll just have a photographer do something fun without Santa.

My baby was born in November and there was no way I was taking her to see germ-infested Santa at the mall.
I LOVE Christmas too but was totally fine with her first picture with Santa happening at 13 months.

Same here...there is nothing I'd rather do less than wait on line at the mall and overpay for a photo with Santa...and I love Christmas! We usually take pics with Santas we see at town events instead, but DS has been terrified of Santa up till recently anyway.
