What can I wear for my twins' Christening?
Help!
Im 4 months PP right now. The Christening for my twins is at the end of the month and I still have a little bump. I've been eating right and working out but I just think its going to take more time before I don't look pregnant anymore. I need something that flatters me. I know I can't really hide the little bump (and a little bit of low loose skin ) so I need something that maybe conceals it a bit. What style or cut do you think would be best. This is me back in july. my belly has shrunk a tiny bit since then but basically, this is close to where i'm at weight/size wise.

You look great!!!
I would do spanx and a dress - anything a-line would be nice!

You look beautiful. Empire waist would be perfect if you are self conscious about that area. I can't do Spanx either.

I think you look great! Agree with others that said an a-line dress or empire waist. I have a spanx slip, it's not a suck you in tight, but it has light smoothing support. I think I got it at Saks, try something like that underneath.

Thanks! I actually have maternity spanx that aren't suffocating and pretty comfy. Just to keep things in place, basically. LOL.
Thanks!

Thanks!
I would get reg spanx. I found my maternity ones actually made me look PG. They aren't super tight in the belly and actually made my belly look rounded wher reg spanx will flatten more.

Re: What can I wear for my twins' Christening?
I found a lot of body flattering dresses at Dress Barn believe it or not! That is where I wound up getting dresses for my kids christenings. I would def check them out. And try everything on. You'd be so surprised how much better it looks on than on the hanger.

My Mom suggested this. I went to Macy's this weekend and wanted to cry. I couldn't get on any of the dresses I tried on. They were all different styles and ALL XL.

This is so funny because I had an identical weekend. I also have my son's christening in a couple of weeks. I was glad you posted this last week because I was wondering the same thing. I went to Macy's yesterday and I wanted to cry too. I tried on like 20 dresses, all 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear and they weren't even close to fitting. My hips are so high and wide! And I definitely still have weight to lose so that's not helping. When I got to my mother's, she also suggested Dress Barn. I'm going to check out Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom as well as Macy's in the Massapequa mall because they have the best dress selection of the Macy's IMO. IF I find a good selection anywhere, I will let you know. Please do the same! I need all the help I can get!

Sorry you are having the same experience but I'm glad I'm not alone. Just clothes in general have been a challenge but dresses? UHH! The WORST! Honestly, I've been ordering online (just taking a chance) and I got one dress last night from lulus.com and I was able to fit in a large! WOO HOO! I'm waiting for two more dresses to see which is best. One from PinkBlushmaternity.com (they also have non maternity dresses) and another also from LuLus.com.
Good luck! Keep me posted!

What can I wear for my twins' Christening?
dress barn has been my go too for clothes lately. I would tr a wrap style dress as they seem to be roomy, and stretchy material and flattering. also something with rouching has been flattering on me as well. Most of my shirts have rouching. (sp)
