Automatic In-Ground Pool Cleaner
For those who have an in-ground pool, please recommend your automatic pool cleaner. We had an Aquabot for many years and it never seemed to work right. We got it from the old home owners, so maybe it was past it's prime. We are looking for something new and would like to purchase now to try it out before the season is over.

Did you ever have it serviced? We also have an Aquabot that was not working right. We had it serviced and it turns out there was something stuck in it and something else had come off the track. It was about $75 and now it works great. Just a thought and it might save you some money.

Unfortunately, we did have it serviced and did not see any improvement. We had such high hopes because the technician raved about the Aquabot and was shocked we found it to be useless. It constantly hung out in the deep end, flipped over, and we would run it all day with no improvement. Finally we stopped using it all together. thanks for the suggestion though.

Automatic In-Ground Pool Cleaner
I have a Polaris 9550 Sport. This was the first year we used it. We spent our vacation fund on it but there was no way I was using a manual vac 7-9 mo preggo. It has a remote control which I barely use but I do love the lift system. It climbs the walls and waits for you to take it out of the pool. It's easy to clean - lift the top and clean out the basket. It cleans the water line and the steps (most of the time).

we have a mountain form pool. It has a lot of dips and angles. Do you think the robots are good for that?
