how long for estimate?
Had a company come look at our bathroom to redo floor and shower area. How long does it usually take to get the estimate? It really isn't a big job. They were here last wednesday.

Typically? You either get it right away or you never get it. I'd call now and see if they're responsive.

I was just dealing with this the past couple weeks. We got 3 estimates and they ranged from 3 days to 1.5 weeks. We called after a week though.

This.
If its longer than a week or so, I'd follow up if you liked them. Contractors are notoriously bad at this.
On the other hand, when/if you follow up, make sure you are getting multiple quotes and are not desperate. Some contractors will just through a high number out there to get you off their back.
