Girls name help
We are team green and due in December so we still have lots of time, but we are having trouble agreeing on a girl's name. Was wondering what people thought of the following:
Eleanor (middle name undecided - possibly Angela or Frances after my grandparents) - nickname Ellie
Madeline Eleanor - and we possibly could still use the nickname Ellie with Madeline
FYI, Eleanor is my husband's grandmother who passed away this year so we would like to use the name somewhere. Our first dd is named Amelia Grace.

Personally, I'm not a fan of calling people by their middle names so my vote is for Eleanor. Ellie is an adorable nickname.

If we used Ellie for Madeline, it would actually be because there's an ELI in the middle of it, not because of the middle name .

I love them both - both very beautiful names. I know a little Eleanor and they call her Ellie. I love Madeline because it is my mother's first name (and her mother and her mother's name too!) and i will be using it as this dd's middle name.
Soooo..I am no help. BUT - I think if you are going to use Ellie as the nn either way, I would go Eleanor.
