how to break the news
Hey ladies! Hubby and I are expecting baby number two! I am 7 weeks pregnant and we are discussing ways to tell family and friends. we are at a stand still.
with our first daughter we did the picture/video announcement. we were pretending to take a picture with everyone and instead of saying cheese my husband said say nicole is pregnant. It was awesome to be able to get everyones reaction on tape.
we want to do something just as creative and cant really think of anything good to do. We want to wait until i am in the second trimester to tell everyone but our families are very impatiently waiting for another baby lol.
do you ladies have any fun suggestions? how did you tell everyone?

Aww how cute!! How old is your first? Maybe you can get her a t-shirt that says "I'm going to be a big sister" and just casually show up with her wearing it. I love seeing the dawning realization.
I'm pregnant with our first so we gave our parents onesies that said "I love my grandma and grandpa" along with an ultrasound. My ILs had nooooooo idea- their reaction was just priceless. My mom was suspicious but the first thing she said "But you were drinking last weekend!"  No, mom, I was pretending to.

thats a cute idea! we originally had the idea to get the maternity skeleton shirt and one for my daughter and hubby and tell everyone on halloween but i dont know if we will beable to wait lol.. congrats on your baby!!

For our second, we put our son in a shirt that said "I'm going to be a big brother!" He wore it to Thanksgiving to tell our extended family. Then we took a pic of him wearing it and posted it to FB.

Congrats!!!
We just ordered scratch offs that look like real lottery tickets and when you scratch them they say "WINNER: We're Expecting!"
I ordered them on Amazon, but Etsy sells them as well. We plan to bring a few to my IL's house one weekend for dinner and just say we got a few extra and give them one to scratch off while we scratch off one of our own as well.
