False eyelashes (extensions)
Are they a big upkeep ??? Do they weave them into your own??? How much ?how often ?

I would also love to know. My hairdresser has them and they look incredible. She doesn't even wear mascara. Next time I see her I'm going to ask a bunch of questions.

I had done once. 1/2 eye (cat eye look).
Its time consuming. an hr or so for full set.
they piggy back the eye lashes. that is why its not damaging. The cycle of lashes is 2/3wks that they fall off so with proper care so that is how often you would go back for a fill. some can go 4wks.
Depending on where you are im sure prices will depend as well. $150 is a full set and fills are $75 and up.
High Maintenance.

i've had extensions on since last november, the girl i use comes to my house with a full setup.
A new set is 200, and a fill in is 100
she comes every 2 weeks so its 100 per time
2600 per year it comes out to, defin high maintenance
I never use mascara and i can't live without them.
I have a friend that gets them done cheaper in great neck at a place and they come out great.

funny I was going to recommend my friend who does in Great Neck. its $125-$150 for full set and $60 fill.

Just the top only never needed to do the bottom but you can put mascara on the bottoms

My daughter used little lash boutique and wanted the thick lashes. Took about 1.5 hours and lasted about three weeks. Cost about $275 but she said well worth it. She was going on a cruise. She's 16 and she had no issues.

People spend so much on their lashes, wow! Seems like a lot of maintenance and $$ for such a small area lol! But I know they can make a difference. I find a cheap primer and a good mascara makes so much difference!!

I did it with a woman who had her own boutique and did one maintenance appointment, and I feel it wrecked my real lashes, but they looked absolutely amazing when I had them. I would do it for a special occasion but not try to keep them and reapply.
