Clear Blue OPK
I've been testing every morning and Thursday I got my first smiley, woke up yesterday and got another smiley ...today I wake up and the digital part already had yesterday's smiley on the screen. The screen was not blank like it should have been. I tested today anyway thinking maybe it would reset but it didn't and I've been waiting for the high peak smiley to show up. The instructions say nothing about what to do for this situation and customer service is closed. I'm assuming it would have showed today or tomorrow? Has this ever happened to anyone?

If its the newer CBE digital, the peak days are the days that you have a non blinking smiley for two days on the screen. After the two days the smiley should disappear. Which ones are you using?

I thought that in the regular digital OPKs, that once you get a positive, then it doesn't work anymore.....that is what happened with mine. But I thought I was doing something wrong. Never used one again because I got pregnant on that cycle (go figure).

It's the clear blue test that indicates the 4 most fertile days. The screen cleared on Friday morning and now today it didn't. I'm going to call customer service on monday

Once you get the smiley with that one it stays on the screen for 2 days. You can't keep testing.

There's the blinking smiley which shows your high. That's your estrogen rising. That one goes away. Then there's the solid smiley that shows when you have your LH surge. Once you get the solid on those it stays on the screen for 2 days. Those are your peak most fertile days because you are about to ovulate.

The solid smiley is your high peak. The blinking is your fertile days leading up to ur high peak.

It's actually pretty common for the test to skip the blinking smiles and go straight to high peak smiles. If you read all the fine print it says it tells you UP TO your 4 most fertile days. Sometimes it will only blink for 1 day, and in your case sometimes not at all. It also says to stop testing once you get your high peak smiley. Maybe that's why it never reset?
