Vitamin D Supplements
Anyone here take additional Vitamin D supplements, especially during the winter months? My dr. appt is not until next week, and I do take my prenatals, but it looks awfully low (400 iui).

Yes I did. I have a history of low Vitamin D levels. Even before I got pregnant. Had to take a prescription in the beginning to bring the levels up and then was able to maintain with over the counter vitamins for the rest of my pregnancy.

Vitamin D Supplements
For the past few years I have always taken my prenatal plus an additional 2000iu vitamin d and 500 B12. I was told to keep taking everything and since being pregnant I also take extra iron and vitamin C too.

I wouldn't take anything extra without the OK from your OB.

i take 4000iu. i dont know why the amount is so low in prenatals

My OB recommended it after some blood work otherwise I wouldn't have known to do this.
