DRess question

I have to get dd's Christmas dress early this year because we have an early appt for photos. I'm noticing than nearly every Christmas dress I see is sleeveless. Usually for winter, I get one that has some sort of sleeves (cap, short, whatever - at least something) b/c sleeveless I feel the air can just go down into her torso.

Am I crazy? Should I just get a cardigan to put over it and be done with it? Or do others feel the Same as me?

Re: DRess question

I've seen those and a few others with short sleeves but don't love them. I'm eying the sleeveless plaid from gymboree.

Re: DRess question

If you think about it, short sleeves or cap sleeves don't add much in the way of warmth as opposed to sleeveless.
I would just get a cardigan to put over it on Christmas.
It's usually warm in the house and going out she'll have a coat over it

Re: DRess question

I just get cardigans but it gets so warm in the house on christmas with all the cooking and people I don't think they have ever worn them. For pictures I would take the cardigan off and just wear it to and from the shoot.

I like a short sleeve for the way it looks, but we did sleeveless dresses last year. I bring a little cardigan with us even with the short sleeve dresses in case it's chilly where we are, but usually it ends up being hot inside.
