High Heart Rate
Hi ladies! I used to be a much more active poster here but I haven’t been in quite a while. DH and I have been TTC for the last 3 years for #2 and last month I finally got my BFP!
I went for my first sono yesterday at 8w and baby’s hear rate was 200bpm! The doc did mention it being high but didn’t seem too concerned. The more I look into it, the more I see how it’s not the norm to be that high so of course I am worried. DS is 4 years old and I don’t remember what his was (or anything for that matter). Did anyone else experience a high HB in early pregnancy?

I think mine was 186 at 7w3d. Doctor did not seem concerned at all. From everything I've read, the heartbeat is very fast in the beginning and then slows and steadies later.

Yes! Mine was 198 bpm early on. It slowed down each time.

Yeah - DS was really high early on, and later on... the OB always joked taht he was a girl b/c girls tend to have higher heart rates.
