Is a heart rate monitor most accurate for calories burned???
I just got a polar heart rate monitor with the chest strap. I ran 9 miles today and MapMyRun which keeps track of my pace and distance says I burned 727 calories, but my heart rate monitor says I burned 1247. Which is more accurate???

Yes. Weight, height, age is all in there.

I always take my heart rate monitor to be the most accurate!

HR monitors are usually more accurate, but they still over estimate calories burned. The actual is probably somewhere in between those 2 numbers.
