big fat bust...
well my beta went down to 10 by saturday so IVF didnt work.
and I have nothing left that was frozen so I would have to start over.
Im not sure if I can or want to at this point. RMA does a review process and I will wait to talk to the dr in more detail. But Im concerned about my progesterone levels. It was fairly high when they checked me after the transfer. when they did the first beta test it was down to a 6 something..and that was while using the crinone suppositories. they had me do the 2x a day starting wednesday, but at that point, the Hcg was dropping anyway.

I'm so sorry it didn't work.
Just wanted to add that progesterone suppositories won't show up in your blood stream. Only PIO, given via injections, will show up in blood work. So that's probably not an issue in your case.

I'm so sorry. In my experience, progesterone can drop if you're not pregnant even on the suppositories. Did your hcg start out higher than 10?

yes,it started out at 26 when they tested me on 10/14. which was a day earlier than planned but i was going away and had positive preg tests; so they brought me in.

I also don't understand how your Progesterone dropped so fast. Im interested to hear what the DR has to say to that.
How many embies did you put in? Was this a 3-day or 5-day transfer?
I wish you good luck on what you decide for the future. However, if you do decide to do this again in the future; maybe try for testing for immune issues. Its a simple problem that can be fixed.

I put back 1 8 celled embryo. the other one I had didnt make it to day 5. It was a 3 day transfer.
I have my review consult with the dr next week. RMA does a peer review so all the dr's in the practice discuss the case and what can be done differently going forward.
I will look into the immune issues. Thanks!

That makes it so much harder I'm sorry. I would also be curious about your progesterone dropping. My last IVF cycle, I got PG. Although my numbers started out strong they slowed down after a few days. My progesterone had been holding steady and then it dropped significantly when my betas stopped doubling. My doctor seemed to think they were related. Maybe that's what happened with you? I hope you can at least get some answers from your consult. Again, I'm sorry you're going through this.
