2.5 year old bedtime troubles
My 2.5 year old is giving me a hard time going to bed lately and sometimes wakes up scared in the middle of the night. I was thinking of getting done sort of night light toy that she can have in bed with her. Anyone have one of those? Think they would help? I've seen those lady bugs

2.5 year old bedtime troubles
Just finished going through this... My ds is 41/2.. He always wen to bed late but now since he started pre k every day we goes to bed much earlier and he didn't like that at all. We stuck with it and made a routine. My eh wrestles with him or we let him watch tv in our room then I read him a book in his bed. It has been routine since September. It's just sticking now. Find out what's scaring him. If it's the dark get a cool night lite he would like. I just put stars on my ds cieling they don't give off a lot of lite but kind of cool idea.. If it's sounds try a sound machine. Hope this helps some.

my 2.5yo has occasional night terrors. He wakes up screaming he looks like he's awake but he's not. I usually happens within the first 90 minutes of being put down. I just hold him and wait for it to pass. I read that if it happens often to wake them prior to the 90 minutes, cause it has somthing to do with sleep cycles

Re: 2.5 year old bedtime troubles
Someone on here suggested a light up bear from Amazon. My daughter loved it! She always fought nap & bedtime. She seems to go through phases of what helps her go to sleep & the bear definitely helped for a while. After a few months it got old to her & she started her usual bedtime nonsense again but it was good to have something to get her back on track for a while. After that, I made a bedtime reward chart but at that time she was 3, yours might still be a little young for that.
Here's the link to the bear...
