How do you monitor your kids you tube video watching? Is there anything that can filter for kids?

Thanks. Unless I am doing something wrong, that one is too young. My son is 7 and he likes kid president but some of the other ones he is watching (or following the links to) im not happy with.

My 6 yr old also has the kids youtube on his Ipad and finds plenty of videos to watch. It's really not all baby shows. There are a lot of videos for older kids. Just doesn't have cursing or anything inappropriate. You can look up anything. Just safer and approved.

DS is 8, I log into YouTube with my account, but have it in safe mode.
He once had a video on (before safe mode) that had a curse, I switched it.
99.9% of the time, he watches Minecraft videos, from the same 2-3 youtubers.

I installed the kids youtube app for Jake a few months ago and so far he has been able to watch all of the videos he always watched.

I also tryed the kids app, but the videos my kids watch aren't there. I just try and keep a listen in the background to everything and periodically check it and make sure there is nothing inappropriate. If I do hear a curse word, I make them turn it off and explain to them about the bad language.
