Can anyone park at the Hicksville Train Station on Sunday? Do you need a permit?

Can you park at the Hicksville station at 4:00pm during the week without a permit? Will I be ticketed if I do?

You don't need a permit on weekends or week nights after a certain time

I was afraid of that. Would it be ok to park at 5?
I am going in for a concert and won't be getting back until about 1:00am so I don't want to park to far from the train station, walking at that time of night not a good idea.

I'm pretty sure you only need a permit up until 5:00. I have parked there a little before 5 with no permit and not had a problem, but it is taking a chance. I parked there many times after 5 (like 5:15) and never had a problem - I think that is the cutoff time

I believe after 5 is ok but on the side streets right by the station (short blocks that run north/south in between the station and John Street) you can park after 4.

you can park in the lot by the trinity Lutheran school without a permit for 4 hours, is a few blocks over from the train station. It is TOB parking but with less restrictions
