Food violations in schools...

So i have recently been touring some schools around my area. One of them happens to have an excellent reputation. Anyway, as i was trying to justify the price of the school, i decided to see if it had any violations for food handling etc.

Turns out, the school had 3 critical violations- which is definitely not good! The notes included violations for cross contamination, dented and swollen cans etc. I am completely disgusted that this extremely popular school has the potential to get young kids extremely sick!

Food violations in schools...

Our schools aren't even listed. Is this just an NYC thing? Oh I see the map. Looks like Suffolk County is excluded, because it ends right on the border of Nassau/ Suffolk. Weird!
