Cold medicine PSA
So I am suffering through a nasty cold or maybe a sinus infection. I took robitussin last night and the night before bc I couldn't stop coughing in the middle of the night. I thought my OB had said it was safe. Well today I feel miserable so I emailed him to see if there is anything else I can take like Tylenol Sinus. He wrote back and said no just Tylenol and Zyrtec if needed. I asked about Robitussin and he wrote back that it's Category C. I had no idea!!! I actually thought he read my email wrong but I looked it up and it is a category C medication.
So I guess it's suffer through for me but just wanted to put out the PSA.

I was told Robitussin DM is fine. Robitussin D is not.

I was told Tylenol Cold and Flu was okay by my OB. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Me too. I work for an OB also and they say the same.
