How many eggs at the first sono after stim meds

2 days of stim meds (follistim 300 and menopur 150). This morning I had a sono and there were 6 follicles - 2 size 7, 2 size 8 and 2 size 9. Does the number go up or down from here or stay the same? What was your experience. We are doing PGS so we need embryos to make it to day 5. If we don't have many embryos we will bank them for a few cycles so it makes sense financially. M

Update
Now at 6 days of meds and have 4 follicles measuring 11 to 16. There are 2 that are less than 10.

Now after 8 days of meds I have 5 follicles measuring 14.5 to 20. Taking HCG tonight and retrieval is Thursday.

Update
Had my retrieval yesterday- there were 4 mature eggs and all of them fertilized with ICSI! Praying they continue to grow.

I had 0 measurable after 2 days. 2 days is very early and it can go up or down, there's no saying which way yet.

i dont think it matters now. they like to see them get to 18mm. so you have a ways to go. but they have to start somewhere right?

I would not even be concerned at this point. I always made about 20 eggs and at my first appt had no measurable eggs (all under 10mm)

I was stressing about this a bit over the weekend. I've had two monitoring sessions so far. A good amount of small follicles at the first session (after three days of meds) and at the next one after 5 days of meds - one measuring 10 and one measuring 11, others were all smaller than 10 (about 18 of them). I am on 150 of Gonal and 150 of menopur and in addition to that was told to take one syringe of the ganirelix tonight. I go back tomorrow morning for BW and sono. I asked the nurse and she told me I was progressing as I should be so I'm trying not to worry about it.
