cramps & colored discharge after an internal??
I had an internal yesterday morning at my 38wk appointment. Last night I noticed pink discharge before bed and all day today it's been brown. I've also been feeling tons of pressure today, but these last couple of hours its turned into a mild cramping (like that feeling just before AF shows) that seems to come ever 15-30 minutes. It's not painful, just a little uncomfortable. I assume this is normal?? Baby is bouncing around like crazy, so it all just feels weird. Anybody experience this? The internal hurt when she did it, it felt like her entire arm was reaching up there. lol. So I wasn't surprised by the pink and brown discharge, but the cramping concerns me 
Normal?

Discharge after an internal is normal.
Cramps every 15-30 minutes could be contractions. If they start coming more regularly and closer together, start timing them!

Ok, I guess I'll just keep my eye on it and see if they lessen or progress through the night. So far it's pretty dull cramps. I figured contractions would be more painful.
ETA - I didn't really have any progression at yesterday's appointment (1cm & 0% effaced) so I'd be very surprised if anything was in the works.

I progressed 5-6 cm in one hour. Anything is possible!
My contractions were not painful til the dr broke my water. Just felt like tightening.

That's good to know. I guess anything could happen! It's still continuing every 15 min or so. I'm sure it'll either get better or worse through the night, then I'll know if it's the start of something or just a reaction from the internal exam.

That's good to know. I guess anything could happen! It's still continuing every 15 min or so. I'm sure it'll either get better or worse through the night, then I'll know if it's the start of something or just a reaction from the internal exam.
Contractions don't start very painful. They get painful around 4cm and later. It's possible to have contractions for weeks, so just because you weren't dilated at your appt doesn't mean nothing is happening.

it is normal after internals but my contractions felt like cramps with dd2 for a while then they hurt lol
