Thanks all,,we decided to pass on the house..a shame because we really loved it. Ugh back to square one,
I know it's frustrating. The same thing happened to us. We found a house in Bethpage, so cute affordable and great taxes. We were ready to put in an offer then found out it was right near the Grumann plume so we walked away.
A few months later we found a better house for the same price away from the plume.
Don't stress. You'll find your home soon enough.
